HiCraf makes illustrated mini encyclopedias for children aged 3 and up. One book, one animal, and one small child with a magnifier who invites the reader to peek along.
Every fact is traced to a source first, then rewritten as three to five lines that read well aloud at bedtime. The pictures are painted one at a time — no photographs, no clip art — and not a single letter is drawn inside any picture, so the same book can come out in any language without being redrawn.
The boy with the magnifier on every cover is the face of HiCraf. He is always the same boy, but he stands differently on each book, because each book is a different adventure.
